US Assembly Members Issue Support for KORUS FTA

Assembly members of the U.S. state of Maryland will deliver a letter to state legislators in support of the South Korea-U.S. free trade agreement.

The South Korean embassy in Washington says that 14 members of the Maryland General Assembly have signed a letter urging Congress to vote for the KORUS FTA implementation bill.

The signature campaign was led by Maryland State Senator Nancy Jacobs and state congressman Anthony O'Donnell. The letter will be sent out as early as this month.

Some 30 members of the Virginia state assembly sent a similar letter to their state legislators in February.
