S.Korea Ambassador Asks Thorough Investigation of Prosecution

South Korea’s ambassador to Mexico Cho Hwan-bok says he has asked the Mexico City's prosecutor to arrest the gunmen responsible for the fatal shooting of an ethnic Korean employee of a South Korean conglomerate.

Cho met with Attorney General Marisela Morales in Mexico City. Cho said the killing had dealt a severe blow to the South Korean community and companies operating in Mexico, and ask the attorney to take direct interest in the investigation to arrest the culprit.

The South Korean ambassador also asked Mexican authorities to stringently guard the families of the deceased employer as well as the conglomerate to prevent additional casualties.

According to the South Korean embassy, Morales was briefed by the investigators who were present, and the attorney general ordered them to find the assailants without delay.
