BOJ Head to Continue Monetary Easing Policy

The head of the Bank of Japan (BOJ) says that the value of the yen is still being adjusted as it sheds gains built up during the global financial crisis.

However, BOJ Governor Haruhiko Kuroda told a news conference in Tokyo that the adjustment of the Japanese currency will not trigger an exodus of funds from Japan.

The Japanese central banker revealed a goal of achieving a two-percent inflation rate in two years. He reiterated his willingness to maintain an ultra monetary easing policy even after two years if the inflation target is not met by then.
