Eldest Son of Sunken Ferry Operator's Owner Put on Wanted List

The eldest son of the alleged owner of the Sewol ferry has been put on the most wanted list, as he has continued to ignore prosecution summons for questioning.

The Incheon District Prosecutors’ Office said Wednesday that those put on the the most wanted list can be arrested on the spot as soon as they are found.

The prosecution is also closely monitoring major ports such as Incheon Port and Pyeongtaek Port, under the judgment that Yoo Dae-kyun, the eldest son of Yoo Byung-eon, could illegally leave the country by sea.

Yoo Byung-eon himself was also summoned for questioning, and the prosecution said that it will take proper steps in accordance with laws and principles if he disobeys their summons.
