BoA Again Tops Oricon Chart
World star BoA rose to the top spot of Japan’s Oricon daily album chart with her sixth regular album “The Face.”

Released simultaneously on February 27th in both Korea and Japan, BoA’s newest album climbed to the top on the very first day of its market release by selling over 22 thousand copies.

This is the seventh time that BoA’s album topped Japan’s premier daily album chart. “Listen to My Heart,” her debut album in Japan released in March 2002, first reached No.1 on Oricon, followed by her second Japanese album “Valenti,” third one “Love & Honesty,” fourth album, “Outgrow,” fifth album “Made in Twenty,” and the compilation of her best hits “Best of Soul.” Four of her single albums - “Shine We Are,” “Do The Motion,” “Tomorrow of Nine Colors,” and “Winter Love” – also finished No.1 on the Oricon daily single chart.
