Hottest Nail Looks for Fall/Winter 2015
As any fashionista knows, having soft hands and well-groomed nails can add to your allure and do wonders for your look. Today I’m going to introduce the hottest nail trends topping the trend charts for Fall/Winter 2015.

Radiant plums & burgundy
When fall hits, our wardrobes get a cold-weather update, and so should our nails. It’s time to put away pastels and tropical nail colors and opt for darker, richer, and more earthy hues which are always popular during this time of the year. Among a sea of earthy nail colors, radiant plums, burgundy, and brownish reds are the trends of the season. In particular, different shades of plums—everything from light purple to rich plums and neons—have been popular for a few seasons and it’s no exception this fall. Depending on your preference, you can either go matte or shimmery, as both looks are popular this fall. As a general rule of thumb, stylists recommend shimmery, iridescent shades of burgundy and plums for nights out. For a night out on the town, choose an elegant LBD (little black dress) and opt for shimmery burgundy colorful enough to brighten up your entire look and flaunt your fashion sense!

Vivid blues
There is no denying that bright colors can change your entire look. While we tend to associate fall fashion with dark colors, bright bold hues are also hot when it comes to nail looks this season. Among other colors, vivid blues—which were seen all over the runways for fall/winter 2015—are officially the hottest nail color of the season. If you’ve been craving for a pop of color, opt for deep sapphire nails and instantly brighten up your otherwise plain look. Among a wide variety of blue shades, deep, electric blues are extremely popular this season. Rock the look with neutral, monochromatic outfits and take your look from day to night!

Nail art
When it comes to nail art this season, think geometric shapes. Nail art featuring circles, lines, triangles, and squares paired with matte finishes are the hottest look at the moment. To make your nails pop, limit nail art to one nail—like your pinky, thumb, or index finger and make it stand out. As for the lengths, manicurists recommend short nails during the colder months, as longer nails are prone to chipping and breaking. To flaunt bold nail art, keep your nails short and round for a neat and chic look.

Consider these trends and stay stylish!
