Much of the drama “Descendants of the Sun” takes place in the fictional war-torn and disaster-stricken country of Uruk. The story unfolds where the lead actor Song Joong-ki’s character Special Unit Chief Yoo Si-jin falls in love with medical doctor Kang Mo-yeon played by actress Song Hye-kyo.
