Nicole Risse and Catherine Hamel are the co-founders and co-presidents of the Seoul-based charity club "Wine and Women Korea", formed under the auspices of the Europe-Korea Foundation.

Foundation director Risse is a German who majored in Korean studies in college and attended an international graduate school in Seoul.

Hamel is a French volunteer at the foundation with a background in business and marketing.
