Knut Brynhildsvoll

Knut Brynhildsvoll is a professor of Nordic literature at the University of Oslo in Norway.

He recently visited Seoul to attend special seminars marking the centennial anniversary of the death of famed Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen.

A graduate of the university, Brynhildsvoll is the director of the Centre for Ibsen Studies and formerly taught at the University of Cologne in Germany.

The plays of Ibsen are the second-most performed in the world next to those of William Shakespeare.
