The Korea Foundation is a government-funded organization founded in 1991. Since then, the foundation has made concerted efforts to introduce Korea to as many foreign countries as possible by sending Koreans abroad or inviting foreigners here to experience the various facets of Korea including culture, art, literature and academia.

President Kwon, who has almost completed his full three-year term, tells us about the foundation's main objectives and roles, as well as the major tasks accomplished under his leadership over the past three years. He also speaks about the future direction that the foundation must head in.
