This year's event was actually the third of its kind to be hosted by the Australian Embassy in Seoul.

Australian ambassador Peter Rowe said that Australia Day 2007 will certainly serve as a catalyst to boost bilateral contacts between Australia and Korea.

A variety of cultural events including a fashion show, commodity showrooms, and art programs were presented during the evening, amid bustling crowds singing loud, merry songs, and performances by some invited Australian musicians.
