Kim Kashkashian has mostly been active in Germany until about six years ago, when she went to Boston. There she teaches music now at the New England Conservatory of Music. She recently visited Seoul to hold some concerts with the KBS Orchestra. I met her at KBS Hall last Thursday while she was rehearsing right before her concert with the KBS Orchestra. Our conversation focused on the repertoires for the concert, her world of music, her unfailing love for viola, the joy of being a music professor and more.
