Bosworth: Six-Party Talks Not In Crisis

U.S. point man on North Korea, Stephen Bosworth, says the six-party nuclear talks are not in a crisis.

Bosworth told reporters in Tokyo Tuesday that countries participating in the six-party nuclear talks are not too worried about the current situation.

The U.S. envoy also said another nuclear test by North Korea would be a step in the wrong direction, adding that continued dialogue and negotiations are the only proper way to resolve the issues at hand.

North Korea boycotted the multilateral nuclear talks and threatened to conduct a second nuclear test in protest of the U.N. Security Council's condemnation of its April fifth rocket launch.
