Former presidents are expressing grief over the death of former president Roh Moo-hyun.

Former President Kim Dae-jung said it’s sad to lose a comrade who worked together with him for the democratization of the nation. According to his aides, Kim said it feels as if half of his body has collapsed. Kim handed over power and liberal legacy to the late former president.

Former President Kim Young-sam called Roh’s death a shocking and unfortunate incident.

Former President Chun Doo-hwan also lamented Roh’s death and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.

Ex-President Roh Tae-woo reportedly mourned the death of Roh after seeing the news on television.
