NHK : S.Korea-Japan Summit to Come Late June

The leaders of South Korea and Japan will reportedly hold a summit in Tokyo later this month.

Japan's broadcaster NHK reported Tuesday that South Korean President Lee Myung-bak will visit Japan on June 28th to reciprocate Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso's January trip to Seoul.

The heads of the two countries are exchanging visits as part of so-called "shuttle diplomacy," which aims to enhance ties in the region.

NHK said the two heads of state will discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in tackling the North's recent provocative moves, including a nuclear test and missile launches.
