US VP : NK Must Make Tough Decisions

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden says North Korea is being forced to make some very difficult decisions.

He also dismissed North Korea's recent missile launches as predictable, "attention-seeking" behavior by the reclusive state.

In an interview on ABC's "This Week" aired Sunday, Biden said from Iraq that he did not want to give North Korea the attention its provocative behavior is trying to produce.

He said U.S. policy to date has been "absolutely correct" and has succeeded in uniting the most important and critical countries on a common path of further isolating the communist state.

Regarding China's and Russia's participation in the U.N. Security Council resolution sanctioning the North, the vice president said it was a “significant turning of the pressure” against Pyongyang.
