The leaders of G-8 nations have condemned in the strongest terms North Korea's nuclear tests and ballistic missile launches.

In a G-8 statement issued Thursday, the leaders said North Korea's actions "pose a danger to peace and stability in the region and beyond."

The G-8 leaders urged North Korea to refrain from further violations of U.N. Security resolutions and to engage in dialogue, including the six-party talks.

The statement also urged Pyongyang to address concerns about humanitarian issues.
