Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi says North Korea and Iran should scrap their nuclear programs if they are aimed at making nuclear weapons.

Gadhafi made the remark when he appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live on Monday.

He said if the nuclear programs of North Korea and Iran seek to develop nuclear bombs and weapons, such programs should be discarded and should be verified by international inspection.

Gadhafi said if Iran’s claim that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, the program should be supported and encouraged.
