South Korea ranks the lowest among 22 rich nations in terms of helping poor countries.

The Center for Global Development (CGD), a U.S.-based think tank, released on Thursday its Commitment to Development Index (CDI), which ranks 22 rich countries based on how their policies on aid, trade, investment, security, environment, technology and migration promote global development.

Sweden was the top contributor and Denmark ranked second, followed by the Netherlands and Norway.

None of the Group of Seven nations made it into the top ten.
