NK Unchanged on Nukes during Meeting with US

The United States says North Korea showed no shift in its stance on the nuclear issue during a bilateral meeting in New York on Sunday.

The U.S. made the remark when it briefed other participants to the six-way nuclear talks about the results of the meeting between the North American affairs chief for the North Korean Foreign Ministry Ri Gun and U.S. special envoy to the six-party nuclear talks Sung Kim at U.N. headquarters on Sunday.

The two sides are expected to have another bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Northeast Asia Cooperative Dialogue, opening Tuesday in San Diego.
