'NK Continues Intelligence Sharing with Iran'

Japanese media say North Korea, despite showing a conciliatory attitude since being visited by former U.S. President Bill Clinton in August, has nonetheless continued to share defense intelligence with Iran.

Quoting intelligence officials, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun daily also says that Pyongyang appears to be collecting intelligence on South Korea, the U.S. and Japan ahead of its scheduled meeting with Washington on Tuesday.

The intelligence reportedly gathered by North Korea includes three items: South Korea's response to North Korean actions, the South Korean military's weapons procurement process and developments within the U.S. Forces Korea.

The paper says the information North Korea has given to Iran concerns U.S. military moves collected in pro-American Arab countries.
