Ambassador to Japan Kwon Chul-hyun has vowed his best efforts to look for historical documents in Japan to help the search of Korean independence fighter Ahn Jung-geun's remains.

At a memorial service to mark the 100th anniversary of Ahn's death at the South Korean Embassy in Japan on Friday, Kwon said that he will always remember the spirits and ideas of Ahn. He also said that he will try to realize Ahn's beliefs of unity and peace for pan-Asia.
