A new survey on 13 European opinion leaders shows the words “diligence,” “efficiency” and “future-oriented” are associated with Koreans.

The findings were the result of a survey conducted by the Brussels-based research agency “Interel” at the request of the South Korean Embassy in Belgium.

The survey found that the European opinion leaders have a positive view of Korea and Koreans and, in particular, regard Korea as a partner with similar values as the European Union.

Interel’s survey was conducted from January to February on officials from the European Commission, legislators in the European Parliament, think tank researchers and editors of specialized media.
