Reuters Poll: S.Korea's Economy to Grow 6.1% This Year

South Korea’s economy is expected to grow six-point-one percent this year according to a recent Reuters poll conducted on economists from 13 Asian countries.

The forecast is higher than the five-point-seven percent predicted by a previous Reuters survey in July. The figure was marked up due to a rise in exports and a recovery in domestic demand.

The survey also forecast that next year, South Korea’s economy will grow four-point-three percent, or lower than the July projection of four-and-a-half percent.

China’s economy is expected to grow ten percent and India’s eight-point-four percent this year.
