'S.Korea-US FTA May Reach Congress in March'

The South Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (FTA) is expected to be submitted to the U.S. Congress for ratification as early as March.

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that now that the legal language of the FTA document is set, congressional debate on the trade agreement can begin as soon as March.

The paper said that the agreement, which includes supplemental legal language on auto tariffs, will be released to the public next month.

Chairman Dave Camp of the House Ways and Means Committee, meanwhile, says that all three FTAs with South Korea, Columbia and Panama should be addressed within the next six months.
