200 Additional S.Koreans Return from Egypt

A group of 209 South Koreans has returned to the nation from Egypt amid violent antigovernment protests in the North African country.

The group, which includes residents, students and volunteers, arrived at Incheon International Airport via a special Korean Air charter flight on Thursday.

The group said the security situation in Egypt was not good.

Out of some 900 South Koreans who were or are residing in Egypt, around 600 sought to return to South Korea. Four-hundred of them have already returned to South Korea and more will do so on Friday.

The Egyptian protestors are calling for an end to the 30-year rule of President Hosni Mubarak.
