North Korea is reportedly dispatching to China a large number of traders on a mission to secure food and foreign currency.

Japan’s Asahi Shimbun daily said the poverty-stricken communist country has dispatched one-thousand traders to Beijing 600 to Shanghai and up to 200 to key cities in other areas.

The paper says each of the dispatched traders send up to 60-thousand U.S. dollars to North Korea each year.
