S.Korea, Algeria Agree on Nuclear Energy Development

Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan has met with Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci to discuss collaboration in nuclear energy and other areas.

During their meeting in the North African nation, the two officials agreed to proactively push for a nuclear power pact that has been under discussion.

They also agreed to pursue the establishment of an African center for the development of cutting-edge technologies.

According to the South Korean Foreign Ministry, Kim said bilateral relations are developing fast. Medelci expressed his hope that South Korean companies would participate in the economic development of his nation.
