S.Korea Launches Team for Agro Development in Mongolia

A South Korean team has been launched to help in the development of eastern Mongolia as a way to secure food resources.

A launch ceremony was held at the Seoul Press Center on Tuesday, with former South Korean prime ministers and Mongolian government officials attending.

The team will build a large-scale food complex by 2020 in Dornod Province in eastern Mongolia.

The complex is expected to be capable of producing on an annual basis one million tons of crops and facilitating the raising of five million heads of livestock on land covering 30-thousand hectares.
