594 Additional COVID-19 Infections Reported in S. Korea, Raising Total to 2,931

South Korea has reported 594 new cases of the coronavirus overnight, bringing the total number of infections in the country close to three-thousand.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(KCDC) announced that as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, a total of two-thousand-931 people in the country have been diagnosed with the virus, with 594 new cases confirmed since Friday afternoon. 

Currently in South Korea, the total deaths in relation to the COVID-19 stands at 16.
