The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose nine-point-06 points, or point-39 percent, on Friday, ending the week at two-thousand-351-point-67.
This is the fourth day in a row that the KOSPI has ended on a new high for the year.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose three-point-51 points, or point-41 percent, to close at 857-point-63.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-two won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-184-point-seven won.
