Seoul to Be Placed under Cold Wave Watch from Monday Night

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) said a cold wave watch will be issued for the entire Seoul region from 9 p.m. Monday.

The watch is issued when the mercury stays below minus 12 degrees Celsius for more than two days in a row or there is a drastic plunge in temperature.

The weather agency forecast that temperatures in the central region will drop by more than ten degrees to stand between minus ten and one degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning.
