The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose four-point-57 points, or zero-point-15 percent on Wednesday, closing the day at three-thousand-153-point-40.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-05 points, or zero-point-49 percent, to close at one-thousand-42-point-79.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-170-point-five won.
