The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 12-point-76 points, or zero-point-50 percent, on Thursday, to close the day at two-thousand-554-point-69 points.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing seven-point-74 points, or zero-point-90 percent, to close at 847-point-72.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened eight-point-six won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-326 won.
